Why are you being a waste of space; by taking up “space” you can actually hold ground on this earth. Believing that there is more than one meaning to the word ‘rape’ is completely vile. How can you say that??????? Heteropatriarchal hegemonies are so ingrained in you that, even as a woman yourself, you feel rape can somehow have a pleasurable connotation? You are playing a part in the oppression we face everyday of our lives as females. You are using the “masters tools” just as he wants you to. Where in our world, we are taught “how to protect ourselves and prevent our bodies from being violated”, rather than how to stop it and that we shouldn’t do it; you have played a trivial role in undermining the goals to abolish such crimes against women. Women are always being blamed; victim-blaming must be stopped! But how can any of this happen if there are people out there perpetuating a “rape fantasy”. Rape/violence is NOT a fantasy!!! You are giving a free pass to men that it’s really ok, we will enjoy it?!?!?!?!!!!!!! Are you FUCKING kidding me!!!!!!!!! This bothers me everyday of my life, as it should you!!! I’m asking all the men out there to join something like Men Against Rape, because it is up to men to get involved too. They actually do play a vital role in ending these injustices. Men and transgendered people can get raped too, but we don’t talk about this. We don’t talk about the social projections of “rape as a fantasy” or “no really means yes”. America is NOT free. Stop perpetuating acts of violence against women; your mom is a woman, your sister is a woman, and your wife is a woman!!! Stop saying it’s ok, or making jokes about it. You are simply making excuses for the oppressors, the rapists, the fathers, the brothers, the preachers, the husbands.

An aside: Also, harassment has been experienced by all of us. As women, we know what it is like to get “call cats” or worse while we are simply trying to walk down the mother-fucking street! If not taken care of, this type of violence can escalate. Do something about that too!
